This year I’m walking for someone very special to me — my 13-year-old niece.She lives with severe, nonverbal Level 4 autism. She expresses herself in her own way, she can't use words to express what she feels, what she needs, or what she dreams about. But that doesn’t mean her voice doesn’t matter. Her life, her joy, and her challenges speak loudly to those of us who love her.Autism affects every part of her world — communication, safety, independence, and daily life. The things many of us do without thinking are mountains she climbs every single day. And yet she keeps going with a strength that humbles everyone around her,  Literally! I’m walking for her.I’m walking for my grandchildren who navigate autism every day with love, patience, and determination.I’m walking because every child like my niece deserves understanding, support, resources, and a future where they are seen, valued, and included.If you feel moved to walk with us or help, please consider donating to my team or sharing this post.
