The term "lost girls" refers to the phenomenon of autistic girls and women being significantly delayed in receiving a diagnosis, or even misdiagnosed, compared to boys. This can have significant consequences for their mental health and overall well-being. They may experience anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges, and may be at higher risk of suicide. We are celebrating them and letting them know they are seen and loved!!
